,,Sign O'The Times Super Deluxe Edition" zawiera cały materiał audio, który ukazał się w 1987 roku, a także 45 niepublikowanych wcześniej nagrań audio zarejestrowanych między majem 1979 a lipcem 1987 raku. Całość uzupełnia zapis koncertu z czerwca 1987 roku, który odbył się na stadionie Galgenwaard w holenderskim Utrechcie podczas trasy ,,Sign O'The Times".

Dodatkowo, zarówno zestaw CD jak i winylowy zawierają DVD z pełnym, niepublikowanym wcześniej charytatywnym, sylwestrowym koncertem, który Prince dał 31 grudnia 1987 roku w Paisley Park. Podczas finałowego występu trasy ,,Sign O'The Times" doszło do jedynej scenicznej kooperacji Prince'a z legendarnym jazzmanem Milesem Davisem.
