15 lipca 2016 do kin wchodzi nowa wersja jednego z największych przebojów komediowych lat osiemdziesiątych. kultowego filmu ,,Ghostbusters". Tego samego dnia ukazuję się na CD Soundtrack z filmu - ,,Ghostbusters: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" nakładem RCA Records.

Płyta zawiera kompozycje, m.in. piosenkę ,,Good Girls" wykonywaną przez autorkę hit ,,Ex's & Oh's" - Elle King. Na albumie usłyszymy również utwory m.in. Eazy ft. Jeremih, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pentatonix, WALK THE MOON, Fall Out Boy ft. Missy Elliott, Wolf Alice i wiele innych. Na płycie znajdzie się także kultowy utwór przewodni ,,Ghostbusters", skomponowany przez Raya Parkera Jr. w oryginalnej i nowej aranżacji.
 
Nowa wersja filmu :Ghostbusters", w reżyserii Paula Feiga, już wzbudził wiele kontrowersji. Główne role obsadzono popularnymi amerykańskimi aktorkami: Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones i Kate McKinnon.
