Reedycja jednego z klasyków klasycznego heavy metalu. Wydany oryginalnie w 1982 roku "The Eagle Has Landed" był pierwszym oficjalnym albumem koncertowym legendarnego zespołu Saxon i pierwszym, na którym zagrał kapitalny perkusista Nigel Glocker.
Materiał na płytę zarejestrowano podczas trasy koncertowej z 1981 roku, na której z kolei Saxon promował inny swój klasyk, czwarty studyjny album "Denim And Leather". Całość zmiksowano w Manor And Bray Sound Studio.
Płyta dotarła do piątego miejsca na brytyjskiej liście. Wznowienie poza tym, że ma zremasterowane brzmienie, jest bogatsze od pierwowzoru o pięć kompozycji, które pochodzą z legendarnych występów kapeli w londyńskiej hali Hammersmith Odeon w 1981 i 1982 roku.
